Persephone

This was a fun collab between Broken Boy and myself. He was into minimal techy sounds and I pushed to make it a breaks tune. I liked how this one came out.

Konka and Broken Boy keep it understated with “Persephone,” a minimal, deep breaks cut that lets space do the heavy lifting. Plucked and saw synths thread the melody across the arrangement while a lean, purposeful bassline holds down the bottom end without ever overreaching. There’s a confidence to the track, danceable and grounded; it knows exactly what it is and never tries to be anything more. Sometimes the most humble tracks leave the deepest impression.
